Acceptable Use Policy

The rules that keep MOTHER AI safe, lawful and reliable for everyone.

Last updated: 26 July 2026 · Media Stream AI Limited, England & Wales

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the MOTHER AI Services. It forms part of our Terms. By using the Services you agree to use them only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else.

2. Prohibited uses

You must not use the Services to:

  • break any applicable law or regulation, or facilitate anyone else doing so;
  • create, distribute or promote illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, or content that is unlawful under the Online Safety Act 2023;
  • generate targeting, fire-control, kill-chain, or other content intended to direct a weapon or cause physical harm — MOTHER is strictly observe-and-advise with a standing no-strike posture;
  • harass, threaten, defame, or infringe the privacy, data-protection or intellectual-property rights of others;
  • produce disinformation, non-consensual intimate imagery, deceptive deepfakes, or impersonate a person or organisation without authorisation;
  • attempt biometric surveillance, social scoring, or other uses prohibited under the EU AI Act;
  • extract, copy or reverse-engineer model weights, or circumvent rate limits, safety systems or access controls;
  • introduce malware, conduct prompt-injection or denial-of-service attacks, scrape at scale, or otherwise interfere with the Services or their security;
  • breach export-control or sanctions law, or exfiltrate data you are not authorised to process.

3. Responsible-AI expectations

  • Treat model output as advisory — verify it before relying on or publishing it.
  • Keep a human in the loop for consequential decisions; do not present AI output as professional (legal, medical, financial) advice.
  • Be transparent with your own users when they are interacting with AI-generated content.
  • Do not use the Services to make solely-automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for activity under your account, for keeping credentials secure, and for ensuring you have the rights and any necessary consents for content you submit. You must comply with all applicable laws in the jurisdictions from which you use the Services.

5. Monitoring & enforcement

We may monitor use for security, reliability and compliance with this AUP, the EU AI Act and the Online Safety Act 2023, proportionately and consistent with our Privacy Policy. Where we reasonably believe this AUP has been breached, we may warn, throttle, suspend or terminate access, remove content, and — where required by law — report to the relevant authorities.

6. Reporting abuse
